Ever wanted to know what's in a Grouse Park blogger's bag? Here's what is in mine.
First off I shoot with a Canon Rebel t2i (1). When working with DSLR's you have to know your lenses, and my favourite is the Rokinon 8mm Fisheye (2). Next up I have my 50mm (3), this lens is my friend in low light and for getting shallow focus. When getting the shot from a long distance I use my 100-300mm zoom, if it's a clear day up on the hill I can see the reflection of cars in city with this lens. For audio I have a Rode Video Mic Pro (5). I also use a Magic Lantern to get the right levels for perfect audio. If you have seen my recent edit I made, you might have seen the light coming from my Cowboy Studio LED light (6), I tend to forget how bright this thing is. Having Extra batteries (7) help, and with cold temperatures they tend to not last as long, so carry backups. Sometimes I don't realize I had snow on my lens until I'm editing the footage, my lens pens (8) help keeping it clean. Next is the thing I put my camera on, my Manfrotto 701HDV tripod (9). Last but not least is my GoPro 2, who hasn't heard of GoPro? This tiny camera kills the POV market. When you combine all this gear together it makes a solid kit that gets the job done.
